About

Accomplished seller,
Program builder,
Product builder.

I am the different hire. I can do everything inside the box: sell, manage, carry a number. Where I do my best work is outside it. Give me a hard problem that matters, and the room to build something around it.

Philip Siniscalchi
The pattern

Five times I saw the move early, put my hand up, and built it.

“Read the pattern early, prove it with one real thing, build the machine that scales it.”
01

Dimension Data

Moved from hardware selling into the first services-only role, which became the foundation for the company’s client partners.

02

NTT

When NTT bought Dimension Data, asked to own NTT as an account, then built the Americas cross-sell program that brought 31 business units into one motion.

03

t-emgee

After twenty years of watching companies struggle to buy and track technology, built a platform for it and sold the design.

04

AWS

Read MongoDB’s compensation change as an opening and turned it into a co-sell and marketplace motion, and co-led the AI coding integration.

05

SMARTHAUS

Saw that AI would need to be governed by something other than another model, and founded SMARTHAUS around a method, an engine and a product to do it.

The career
  • Dec 2023 to nowSMARTHAUS, Founder
I stood SMARTHAUS up as an IP company to go deep on AI at the architecture level. The IP is the method, the engine, the product line and three provisional patent applications, and my partners are now taking it to market.
  • Oct 2022 to Nov 2023Amazon Web Services, Principal Account Executive, MongoDB (L7)
AWS’s global MongoDB partnership, a $172M number grown 24.6% in a down market. I owned the account plan and led the fourteen-person account team behind it. The sell-to team reported to me directly, and the partner and service teams aligned to my plan.
  • 2022 to 2023t-emgee Solutions, Founder
Built LAMP, a procurement-as-a-service platform with an embedded generative AI pre-sales assistant, and sold the platform design to a Northeast regional systems integrator, consulting part time through the handover after I joined AWS.
  • 2016 to 2022NTT DATA, Regional Sales Director
Reported into the NTT Global Business Office in Tokyo with the Americas: the top 90 strategic accounts, 31 business units brought into one cross-sell motion, more than $200M in contract value and more than $1B in pipeline in 22 months.
  • 2003 to 2016Dimension Data, Enterprise sales leadership
Originated the Texas Department of Transportation outsourcing contract ($190M over five years). President’s Club five times.
What I am looking for

A seat at a company doing AI where selling and building both count: strategic accounts that need creative growth, an alliances or partner motion to build, or business units to bring together into a new go-to-market.

SMARTHAUS continues as an IP company with its team. I am not walking away from it, and I am not looking for a lifeboat. My highest-leverage skill is enterprise go-to-market at scale, and I want to point it at a hard problem inside a company that already has distribution.

Recognition

  • Top Region, NTT Group, 2016, 2017 and 2018
  • Dimension Data Achiever
